Our four nautical bases are located in Portoferraio (in ‘Grigolo’ locality, near the ‘Lega Navale Italiana’), Enfola Beach and Marciana Marina in the Northern side of Elba Island, and Capoliveri (in Porto Azzurro near gulf of Mola) on the Southern side. We offer a broad range of services to our customers, such as boat hire and dinghy rentals, day trips by motor boat or sail boat, sport fishing excursions, mooring to the buoy, winter outdoor and indoor storage, naval appraisals and boat license courses. In addition to that, at the Enfola Beach and Marciana Marina bases you can also find beach equipment with sunbeds, beach umbrellas, pedal boats, canoes, stand up paddle boards, and windsurfing. At the Portoferraio nautical base you can rent boats and motorized dinghies with or without a boat license, mooring to the buoy, as well as winter outdoor and indoor storage. Upon request, the boats can also be delivered free of charge from this base to a place of your convenience in the Portoferraio gulf area and its adjacent tourist facilities.
From the Portoferraio and Marciana Marina nautical bases you can visit the whole Northern and Western Elba Island coast, spending a relaxing day between the Scoglietto beach, the white cliffs of Sansone, passing through the Tuscan Archipelago National Park, the Enfola promontory and Viticcio bay, continuing towards Procchio and Biodola beaches, until you reach the Paolina islet. Carrying on from that point, Marciana Marina is just a stone’s throw away, after which you can easily get to the Sant’Andrea rocks, the Formiche della Zanca small islands, and the Elviscot shipwreck of Pomonte.
From the Capoliveri nautical base in Porto Azzurro, near the gulf of Mola, you can rent motorized dinghies and other types of boats with or without a nautical license, and mooring to the buoy inclusive of water and electricity facilities. In this base, an ample and free car parking space is also available. Upon request, our boats can also be delivered free of charge from this base to a place of your convenience in the Gulf of Porto Azzurro and its adjacent tourist facilities.
At the Capoliveri nautical base in Porto Azzurro you can spend a wonderful day in the sea, between the Southern and Eastern coasts and bays of the Elba Island, from which you can get to Cavo beach, see the old iron mines, and pass through the wonderful Red Beaches of Capo d’Arco, Ortano and Rio Marina. From there toward Capoliveri, you can also admire the wild beach of Remaiolo with its adjacent coves, together with the old mining facilities which rise on the black and brilliant hematite beaches, and the beautiful, lush vegetation between the Innamorata, Morcone, Pareti and Peducelli cliffs and creeks. Particularly, in the Southern coast of the Island you can enjoy the typical ‘Macchia Mediterranea’ vegetation, cliffs overlooking the sea, black pebbles and golden beaches all the way to Marina di Campo, passing through the Lido di Capoliveri, Felciao, Acquarilli and Lacona beaches, as well as a clear and crystalline sea water view when sailing in front of Cavoli and Fetovaia beaches. Finally, our four nautical bases pay particular attention to safety at sea. In fact, each boat is equipped with regular rescue equipment for adults and children. In addition to that, our Millennium Marine staff is always available to intervene immediately in the unlikely event that any of our boats or motorized dinghies may need any support whilst at sea.
The Elba Island boasts a privileged geographical position, both for the weather (which always allows visitors and locals to stay on the beach until the end of October), and for its unique sea life. In fact, the Island is also notoriously called ‘The Sanctuary of Cetaceans’ where very often you may have the pleasure to withness dolphins, whales and sea turtles passing through! Whether you are starting from the Portoferraio, Marciana Marina or Capoliveri (Porto Azzurro) naval base, you will enjoy a unique experience with breathtaking views, everchanging seabeds for snorkeling, surrounded by the other small islands of the Tuscan Archipelago in the horizon, and by the picturesque and colorful villages overlooking the immeasurably blue, limpid and crystalline sea of the Elba Island! For any holiday at Elba Island, renting either a boat, a dinghy or booking one of our unique excursions with a sailboat or motor boat to experience the sea from the sea is a must!
